As the Director of Aruba Captive Management Services, division Latin America, Luis is charged with managing the Aruba Captive Management Services operations and overseeing the financial condition of captive insurance companies domiciled in Aruba. Among his various responsibilities, Luis conducts the review and approval of captive insurance company applications for licensing, and filings related to company plan of operation changes.
Luis’s 18 years of collective experience includes captive insurance regulation, management, and sales and marketing. He is experienced in all phases of the examination process with companies of all types and sizes. He has evaluated captive applications for admission and licensure and monitored companies for solvency and compliance.
Further on has Luis experience at various levels in captive insurance management with international management firms. He has participated in all phases of captive development from initial marketing efforts to final formation. He has had extensive client contact in design, formation, and operation of captive and traditional programs. He also has experience with various domiciles.
